The Acai Diaries

Hi guys! I’m back in Sydney and can’t get off the acai train…Acai and warm weather just go together.

For my fellow acai-lovers, here are some places where I’ve been buying and trying my favourite purple bowl.

Sadhana Kitchen – Bondi Beach ($16)

Acai 2 Sadhana

The ‘Epic Acai’, w quality organic fruit and the most delicious house-made Old Spice Rawnola. And wait for it…

Acai Sadhana

Front shot. Yep – epic indeed. Definitely big enough for two, although I made a big dent in this. Now this is an acai bowl – ready for round #2!

The North End – Maroubra Beach ($15)

A lovely local cafe, they don’t skimp on their acai portions. So pretty too, right? Also a great place to get some work done while treating yourself to breakkie…which in my case is always acai lately!

Earth to Table – Bondi Junction ($14.50)

A truly healthy acai bowl – super thick and <3 all the berries and grawnola.

Crazy Ray’s – Maroubra Beach ($12)

My local acai spot, this hits the spot every time. I get mine blended with almond milk instead of juice.

View + vitamin D makes this even more delicious.

Hale & Hearty – Waterloo ($12.90)

My first time going here and NOT ordering the gluten free pancakes haha. The paleo granola on top was my favourite part…the ideal acai for gluten free peeps.

Chia Bar – Maroubra ($15)

Taken in a state of hanger, so a pic which doesn’t do this one justice. The house-made granola tastes like crumble; perfect with the not-too-sweet acai blend (just acai and water). The staff are super down to earth here too, and I love the homely vibe.

Ruby Lane – Manly ($16)

Loaded w Greek yoghurt and protein powder, this tasted more like a berry smoothie bowl – but delicious nonetheless.

Where’s your go-to acai spot in Sydney? On my to-try list: Acai Brothers, Culture Bean and Two Girls One Bowl…just can’t get sick of the stuff, it’s too good!
